A horizontal ramp of little vertical slashes that grow taller left to right. The far-right slash is the tallest = 100% = your rig's clear-sky peak (3.3 kW). This hour's output is a glowing fill front that sweeps across the lit slashes. Colorblind-safe: the meaning is carried by height and how far the lit region reaches — gold only reinforces. Built to port cleanly to react-native-svg + reanimated.
Why it reads for a colorblind owner: remove all color and you still see a rising
silhouette with a sharp bright/dim boundary — the height of that boundary and how far
the lit region extends both encode the same number, so the cue is redundant by design.
Real data wiring: the tallest (right-most) slash maps to peakKw (clear-sky ceiling,
3.3 kW). The number of lit slashes and the fill-front position map to currentKw / peakKw.
The slash heights follow a gentle eased curve (not linear) so the ramp reads like a real
engraved instrument scale rather than a plain triangle. Every 5th slash is a major graduation
(slightly wider, with a tick foot), like a ruler. The "kWh today" gold hero stays dominant above.
